I see you. I hear you. I know you, because I was you.
I’ve always been a day dreamer. For as long as I can remember, I’ve created visions in my head of what my life would someday be. I could see this life, clear as day, of future-Lauren killing it in her career, cuddling alllll the rescue puppies, growing plants + little humans, and traveling the globe.
I had plans to take city streets by storm in my high heels and a pink blazer where I would work in a tall, glass building from my corner office with the print "CEO" on the door.
I hustled through college. I hustled hard. And guess what? I made it to the fancy corporate job that I had dreamt about for so long, but...plot twist: I wasn't happy. In fact, I was miserable.
She's Dead.
The old Lauren can't come to the phone right now.
Why? Because...
I knew there had to be more to life than obsessive clock-watching and bad cases of the Sunday Scaries, and I had made a promise to myself long ago that I was going to live a life that was simply extraordinary.
I ditched my plan of becoming a big boss at the Fortune 500 Company that I had finally gotten into and went back to the drawing board to uncover my true genius. We all have a special sort of magic inside of us, and I believe if we can find and tap into that secret sauce, then we've unlocked our greater purpose.
So, what did I do next?
Made for More.
I Quit My Job.
I didn't want to feel trapped in my career or settle for a path that I felt I was "supposed to follow" when I knew it was no longer mine.
I didn't want the Sunday Scaries! I wanted to wake up every morning and throw a dance party in my underwear to celebrate a brand new day bursting with goodness and full of endless opportunities.
I built a business from the ground up, after a lot of work to discover my purpose and align everything else with that purpose. It's challenging, and sometimes lonely, but it is also the most rewarding venture.
The corporate internships I earned, the expansive job roles and clientele, and this journey as an entrepreneur has given me the tools to help other brave, bold, beautiful dreamers (like yourself) rise into their power.
Living an extraordinary life means something different to everyone. Maybe for you, an extraordinary life means taking up residency in that corner office in a tall, glass building! Or maybe, like me, extraordinary means ditching your grey cubicle and trading it in for a life of color as your own boss. Perhaps extraordinary simply means investing more time into bettering yourself and your mindset, monetizing your online influence, scoring more internships or certifications or letters of reference, or finally quitting how you downplay your passion project as a "hobby" to instead start owning it as the successful business that we both know it can be.
I'm not here to define what success and happiness means to you. I'm here to help you uncover your life vision and purpose, speak truth into you so that you know just how incredible you are, mentor you in business, marketing, sales, and networking, and give you the tools, resources, encouragement, and community you need to make this happen.
